#intermittentfasting ✅What is Intermittent Fasting???? Intermittent fasting is a tool, used to loose weight or maintain weight. It's not any specific diet but it's just a time tool which is really helpful if you follow it properly. Just like our religious fasting, in Intermittent fasting or IF (commonly known ) we refrain from eating for a certain period of time but we can take water, black tea/coffee and green tea during that fasting time. ✅How to start????? It's very simple. Just decide a certain time period during which you will fast and an eating window where you can eat. Best is to fast for 16 to 18 hours which is really proven helpful in losing weight. ✅What happens during intermittent fasting???? When you fast for more than 12 hours, your body will start using the stored fat for energy purposes, you are not providing external energy source(food ) so automatically your body will burn the stored fat. ✅What to eat when you open fast???? You need to eat healthy when you break your fast. If you stuffed your body with junk, unhealthy and fattening food then there will be no use of IF. Fasting doesn't mean that you are allowed to eat whatever you want but you need to be mindful. ✅How many meals can we have during eating window???? It all depends upon your preference. Some people like to eat a 2 big meals, one when they break their fast, n second before starting fast again but some like to eat 3 or 4 smaller meals. I personally like to have 2 healthy big meals n just tea or a fruit in between. ✅For how long we can do it safely????? Studies have shown that there is no risk or harm attached to it rather it helps in detoxifying body so IF can be done for an extended period of time. Some people even make it their life style to maintain their weight. 💫I found this tool really helpful in losing as well as maintaining weight... specially after a bad meal.... This is an easy and convincing way to lose those extra pounds, no crash diets or no expensive supplements are needed. You just need to fix your timings and eat healthy.
