On ne visait pas une perte de poids ou une transformation physique, mais bien un changement dans nos habitudes alimentaires dans l'optique de maximiser notre santé globale.⁣ ⁣ Si on veut atteindre de nouveaux sommets dans n'importe quelle sphère de notre vie, selon moi, on doit d'abord et avant tout se concentrer sur l'amélioration de notre véhicule, notre corps, ainsi que sur l'état de santé de notre esprit.⁣ ⁣ Pour moi, l'équilibre de la trinité "Mind - Body - Soul" est essentiel à l'expansion de mon plein potentiel.⁣ ⁣ Aujourd'hui, 69 jours plus tard, je me sens plus légère non seulement en raison des quelques livres qui ont quitté mon corps, mais bien parce que mes choix et mes actions deviennent encore plus en harmonie avec mes valeurs profondes et mes priorités de vie.⁣ ⁣ Cet équilibre m'apporte une tranquillité d'esprit qui, en mon sens, aura toujours meilleur goût que l'amertume qui découle de la satisfaction instantanée et temporaire provenant de choix impulsifs qui terminent souvent en regrets et en « j'aurais donc dû ».⁣ ⁣ Namaste. 🙏🏼❤️⁣

L O V E I S L O V E • Today is bi-visibility day! And in case you missed the memo, I identify as bi/pan/queer. For a long long time it was faaaarr easier to just date guys and fly under the radar as straight. • It just so happens that at this time in my life I have fallen calmly in love with an incredible gentleman...so still get misidentified as straight alllll the time. While it can def make life easier as I don’t get publicly discriminated against...it can also feel like a part of me is not being acknowledged. And can impact my sense of belonging. • I really believe bisexuality is such a misunderstood sexual/relational orientation. A chunk of the gay community doesn’t even get it. Bi peeps can be considered a bunch of incorrect things...just curious, gate way to same sex, promiscuous, confused, selfish, scattered. I can promise you I’m none of those things! But it sure as fuck took me longer to process the fact I’m bi BECAUSE of these false stupid incorrect stereotypes. • In other circles people just deny the fact that bisexuality even exists! This is called bi-erasure and completely oppresses people. It saddens me the most when people Within the queer community itself, hold this view. • That is why I’m passionate about raising awareness today! We have come a long way in accepting pockets of the gay community. Can we freakin please reduce stigma around bisexual/pansexual individuals??!! Our mental health matters and adding bs opinions and assumptions to an already stigmatised and marginalised group is fucked. It’s just fucked. • If you “just know” you are attracted to men, or you “just know” you are attracted to women...then why can’t I “just know” I’m attracted to both. • Let’s have compassion for people. • I N T H E M O M E N T • One of my favourite quotes is ‘love your life, every minute of it’ it comes to me often, showing up on those days when I’m not really feeling the love. It’s hard to appreciate the dark days isn’t it? I’m not sure I’ve got it sussed yet but what I’ve worked through is that without them you never really see the power of the light. Getting through the gloom often gives me a new gratitude for this life of mine. This weekend I’ve been guiding people through the tools I use to pause. Just 5 years ago I remember saying “it must be nice to .......” about everything. Complaining that I wasn’t living the way I wanted as if complaining would make it appear. ⁣ ⁣ “It must be nice to wake up by the beach everyday”⁣ ⁣ “It must be nice to live in a part of the world where the climate is warm the majority of the year”⁣ ⁣ “It must be nice not having to let your car warm up for 30-60 minutes to melt the ice and snow away before driving to work” ⁣ ⁣ “It must be nice living in a place where the pools are open longer than 3 months” ⁣ ⁣ It must be nice ⁣ It must be nice ⁣ It must be nice ⁣ ⁣ Until one day I realized having that “It must be nice” mindset wasn’t going to get me anywhere closer to where I really wanted to be⁣ ⁣ After moving 600 miles away from cold, grey, snowy, shitty Ohio I’m finally living in a place where I feel more at home⁣ ⁣ I can wear flip flops 10 months out of the year⁣ I can walk the beach every single day⁣ I can drive with the windows down and hair blowing in the wind all of the time ⁣ ⁣ I don’t EVER have to fucking see snow again 🤣⁣ I don’t EVER have to spend large chunks of my life shoveling, scraping ice off of my car/driveway ⁣ ⁣ On my worst days, life isn’t THAT bad if I really look at it for what it is. My ocean is my therapist and my entire life is different ⁣ ⁣ I’m happy with the climate ⁣ I’m happy with myself ⁣ I love who I’ve grown to be⁣ ⁣ I can see more gratitude than ever before ⁣ ⁣ I have the confidence in knowing that I have the power to make ANYTHING happen⁣ ⁣ and I will never say “it must be nice to ....” ever again - about anything! ⁣ ⁣ If I want it - I’m not stopping until I have it !⁣ ⁣ We all have the power to create the nice we want to live and the things/people we want in it⁣ ⁣ Don’t wish for something. Self Care Sunday: Get Outside! And be kind to yourself 🥰 I was hesitant to post this photo as I feel self conscious about my posture that in turn makes my tummy look like I have a baby bump 😏 I am struggling to get my torso back into shape, but it’s happening. We know the self consciousness comes from how we feel about ourself right now. We know we are aware and working on it. We know what we see is a twisted visual reality. Let. It. Go. As humans, we have the capacity to feel a multitude of emotions at the same time. Each feeling is equally valid even when they seem to contradict one another. This capacity is what makes our human experience so rich and gives amazing depth to our ability to engage with ourselves and our world. For example, if you were getting ready to change jobs you might feel a range of feelings. You might be excited about the opportunity and happy to have landed something new. You might also feel sad about leaving your previous position and nervous about what the new work environment will be like. If you make room for all of these emotions you will come to understand yourself more fully. You will also get to feel the good because you won’t be focusing only on what you don’t like.
