Godmorgon ❤️🤗 Nu har jag berättat mycket om våra älskade fåglar. Vill även berätta om dessa godingar. När lille Viking, vår chihuahua kom till mig för ca 4 år sedan hittade vi varandra direkt. Han har en fantastiskt charmig personlighet och ger så mycket kärlek, samma med goa Rulle. Viking var blyg när han kom och det var bara matte som gällde, och sen mindre än ett år efter så kom husse in i bilden. Först så var han svartsjuk och ville komma emellan men på ett gulligt sätt. Ganska snabbt blev husse accepterad. ❤️ Sedan så kom älskade Rulle in i bilden, han flyttade in hos mamma och pappa. Viking och Rulle hittade varandra direkt. Rulles matte hade gått bort, och det visade sig att hans matte också satt i rullstol som min mamma gör. Så han kände direkt en samhörighet med mamma och även med pappa och oss alla. Han kom "hem". ❤️ Förra året så gjorde pappa en hjärtoperation, och när han fick komma hem så gick det 2 dagar så höll han på att dö. Hans hjärta stannade och han sa till mamma på akuten "nu dör jag". Mamma ropade på hjälp, och då lyckades de rädda honom tack och lov. ❤️ Det var en jobbig tid, men han fick en pacemaker så nu funkar pumpen som han brukar säga. När pappa var så sjuk så bodde Rulle hos oss under en längre tid, och då har det blivit så att de är alltid tillsammans. Så oavsett om de är här eller hos mamma och pappa så är de alltid tillsammans. 🤗❤️ Älskade djur. Tacksamhet. 🙏 När vi är klara med flytten så ska de underbara få komma till oss. ❤️ Det var lite mer om mig och oss. “When we hear ‘self-love’, we often think of a state of being or a place to get to. Self-love is frequently talked about in a way that relieves us of feeling bad, negative or challenged (hint: it doesn't remove those parts of being human ). It’s such an important practice (keyword: practice ) isn’t it? And a piece that is often missing from the conversation is this: a big part of the practice of self-love is taking personal responsibility: for our feelings and responses, for the way we show up in the world, for how we care for and treat ourselves, for how we work through the messiness, for the boundaries we set and the things/people/feelings we let go of, for putting our own well-being first, even if it means disappointing someone else, for what we choose and don't choose -for all of it. Practicing self-love and self-acceptance isn’t about blindly loving everything about ourselves and avoiding confronting the hard stuff. It’s about deeply knowing that we are inherently worthy no matter what *and* that it takes our own effort, awareness and understanding to align our lives in such a way that extending love and compassion to ourselves becomes possible. Choosing to recognize the responsibility we have over how we respond to our lives is challenging because it means we can no longer put the blame elsewhere (which doesn’t really get us anywhere in terms of growth, movement, or shifting ). It means we can no longer use anything outside of ourselves as an excuse as to why we treat ourselves like dirt or talk to ourselves so harshly. It means taking a deeper look and acknowledging the blocks and barriers, saying ‘it's okay that I'm here *and* here is where my work is’ and doing something about them in order to make room for our own well-being. And it means practicing compassion, forgiveness and accountability, all of which support us in owning the fullness of who we actually are. Self-love requires self-responsibility. This isn't easy; it's learned, and takes daily practice. #WhyImGladIStayed The very first thing healing taught me is that I can’t be the most authentic version of myself if I never allow myself to be vulnerable. Although I’m a naturally honest & transparent person there were many times that trauma compromised my ability to open up again. I started to see my vulnerability as a weakness. I shut down, thinking that I was protecting myself when in actuality I was hurting myself more than I realized. The painful days of not speaking my truth slowly ate away at my spirit, making it increasingly difficult to open myself to receiving help so that I could heal. Whether it’s judgment, rejection, trauma, or fear, we oftentimes adopt some sort of way to guard ourselves from experiencing those feelings again. We’ll shut down, push away, ignore, dissociate, lash out, harbor resentment, harden up our hearts. The world teaches us that suppressing our pain or fears makes us strong. We’re told that crying means we’re weak. It’s taboo to admit that we’re hurt. It’s easier to hate or run away from the things that scare us. But if bravery means facing our fears, then the bravest thing we can do is deal with those uncomfortable emotions with patience & self compassion. Strength IS letting yourself feel. Strength is sitting with the triggers, emotions, or memories that hurt instead of running from or trying to numb them. Strength is speaking your truth. The key is learning how to protect yourself in a way that doesn’t block your blessings. This project is a major act of vulnerability for me. I started to understand that I don’t need to martyr or compromise myself to help others. I learned how preserve myself while sharing my heart. I share a lot, but not everything. I want ppl to be inspired to free themselves by to getting the pain off their chest. I want ppl who’ve had a negative experience opening up about their traumas to know that safe spaces exists so that they can do it again. That their story matters. I want ppl who are scared to cry feel the liberation of finally letting it out. And I want ppl who are scared to ask for help to know that getting help is one of the bravest things they can do.

How to start expressing so much emotion, so much gratitude, so many deep feelings, so enriching, so many beautiful people around me, who supports me, who believe in me and who made all this possible. I feel immense gratitude in my heart that in the last two weekends, our Shala, our family, has had the experience, the opportunity and the fortune to practice with two great teachers. Two of the greatest and dearest teachers of mine, who have come to share their vast knowledge and experience in this beautiful path called Ashtanga Yoga and whom I admired and honored with all my heart. Thanks to all my students and all the people who attended this Workshop. Thank you Minnar @yogawithmii for sharing with so much passion and enthusiasm everything you know and what you manage to convey with great devotion. We have had a weekend without equal and incalculable in experience, knowledge and extremely enriching. Minnar, our Shala is your home, and the doors are always open for you whenever you want to be here with us. It has been a great honor for me to share 3 full days with you and in me you have a friend, an Ashtangi sister, a person who admires you, who loves you, who supports and respects you forever. Mann 60 år: «Mottagelsen da jeg kom var så hyggelig som den kunne få blitt, du virket trygg, åpen og hyggelig og den påfølgende samtalen synes jeg også fløt lett og ubesværet, selv om vi jo etterhvert kom inn på nokså nærgående og intime temaer. Det er ikke ofte jeg snakker om slike ting, og å åpne seg opp for en fremmed kunne selvsagt blitt vanskelig, men du var flink til komme med de rette spørsmålene og innspillene slik at jeg synes at jeg fikk fortalt deg hva som var viktig for meg. På massasjebenken følte jeg meg hele tiden i trygge hender, det var aldri ubehagelig, faktisk hvis jeg skulle oppsummere massasjen i et stikkord tror jeg det måtte bli "nytelse". Nytelse for alle sanser og hele kroppen. Andre ord kan være varm, rolig, trygg, pirrende, vakker, spennende og grensesprengende. Så ja, massasjen passet meg. I samtalen etterpå oppsummerte du hva du hadde gjort under behandlingen og jeg fikk svar på ting jeg lurte på. Jeg vet ikke om jeg forsto alt du ville forklare meg om hvordan og hvorfor tantra behandlingen virker, men hva gjør vel det, jeg kjente, og kjenner fortsatt at den virker, det er vel det som betyr noe. The relationship between me and #pinchamayurasana I always think it's a cool pose to practice, but I don't practice pincha often, just focus on what teacher want me to do, rest when I need to rest, then I did it, I don't fall, I kick up with control. 😄 In my mind, to chase an asana is opposite side of the reason why I practice yoga.
