Update on hoyo Ayan Hassan Mohamed, whom we posted about two weeks ago. She’s the caregiver of her daughter who suffers from severe mental and physical health conditions. Upon completing this video, Ayan and her daughter were heading to Nairobi to check into the central hospital. Updates like this is why we do what we do. May Allah reward all those who donated to hoyo Ayan and continue to donate to these desperately in need refugees. Ameen ameen @msyusuf101

Wise words from Amal @amalinaa2 I pray you are reunited with your mom in jennah. You are incredibly strong for sharing your mother’s story with the world. What you are doing takes courage and strength. Please know Somalis all around the world are thinking of your family. Mental illness is real, it’s a growing problem and I hope your mom’s passing shook the community. I hope her passing brings light to mental illness and how serious it is. I hope Allah continues to grant you Sabr. We are praying for you ❤️

PLEASE HELP ADEER YUSUF BEAT CANCER ⚠️ This is painful case of Adeer Yusuf, a farmer in Hargeisa. He is battling advanced throat cancer and is mentally unstable due to the cancer. He is in much pain, physically weak, unable to speak, he is fed thru stomach tube and goes many nights without sleep. He needs surgery to remove the cancer cells. Luckily, the doctors are hopeful about his prognosis and believe adeer Yusuf should beat the cancer with surgery. Caring for him took a toll on his wife, Sundus, who is hard of hearing and suffers from numerous health conditions. It’s very common to see caregivers’ health decline while looking after loved ones. • Our goal for adeer this time is to undergo major surgery to remove the cancer cells in his throat so he can go back to work. PLEASE HELP ADEER YUSUF BEAT CANCER BY DONATING TO HIS SURGERY. LINK TO DONATE IS ON BIO. FOR DAHABSHIL, PLEASE MESSAGE US FOR HIS INFORMATION. May Allah reward you @msyusuf101

This is absolutely devastating. It is the duty of each one of us to do something for our folks back home. Death caused by lack of basic needs such as food and water is the most difficult thing to grasp. • We are working on putting together a very large food distribution in Mogadishu. We are working with Habeeb Mental Hospital doctors and staff. If you’re interested in donating please donate via link in bio, or if you would like to put together a fundraiser in your town, or whatever idea you may have. Please message us, we would love to work with you! @msyusuf101

“When I grow up, I want to be a doctor”-Filsan, Age 5, Dadaab refugee camp. • It’s World Refugee Day. Let us take time to recognize the millions of Filsans around the world, whom despite all hardships and unbearable conditions no child should endure, they still show courage and strength. They’re my heroes, my inspiration. Happy World Refugee Day! @msyusuf101

Happy Mother’s Day to these amazing warriors, whom despite everything they face, their children come first. Somali mothers are some of the most selfless women I’ve ever known. When the odds are against her, she holds on to her Deen, never gives up, and deeply believes Allah has better plans for tomorrow. Wise beyond their years and dedicated to their families, we owe everything we are to them. They are our home, our wisdom, our confidant, our refuge, our rock, our beacon of hope. @msyusuf101
