1Tim 6: 7-10 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. • • Nb: Quick money isn’t the way out guys.... Be careful the length you go just to make easy money. There’s a huge price to pay. 🙏🏽
I dedicate this song to anyone feeling down. You’ll be fine..😁😁😁😁😁 • • Today's a new day, but there is no sunshine Nothing but clouds, and it's dark in my heart And it feels like a cold night Today's a new day, but where are my blue skies Where is the love and the joy that you promised me? Tell me it's alright (I'll be honest with you ) I almost gave up, but a power that I can't explain Fell from heaven like a shower (When I think how much better I'm gonna be when this is over ) • • [Chorus:] I smile, even though I'm hurt, see I smile I know God is working so I smile Even though I've been here for a while I smile Smile It's so hard to look up when you've been down Sure would hate to see you give up now You look so much better when you smile, so smile Cc: #kirkfranklin 💄: @shadesandbrushes
What is your definition of a powerful woman? Is it by the position she occupies and/or power she wields in society? • • Is it by the gallant effort she makes to pull herself back together no matter the challenges she faces? • • Is it by the way she skillfully hides her pains and sorrow with a charming smile and personality? • • Is it the way she manages to survive in a world of dominance? • • Are you a powerful woman? Tell me what makes you one. You are allowed to show off in the comment section because today, we are declaring with our words, the person we are and want to become. No matter what the situation currently is, remember you are still alive because God knows you can make it through!!!! Give him some praise.❤️❤️ • • Love going out to @detailsbyneyomi for her new scarf line #GLADYS , @dbn_rtw _rtw which represents peace and resilience !!!

My heart breaks at the thought of missing out on the opportunity to discuss on #TheLateAfternoonShow , the many social issues that have arisen in the last two weeks. • • I admire the dauntless protests by Ghanaians at the $200m chamber proposition by members of parliament, to the brazenness of a popular Nigerian musician’s wife, who narrated her harrowing experience after she was allegedly raped by a well known man of God in her country, and another cook who defiled a 4 year old girl (who by the way needs to rot in jail if found guilty ), to some very personal matters making their way to social media this week. • • We surely will return to your TV screens soon but until then, tell me, what has been the most shocking and absurd story you’ve heard this week and how does it make you feel when you think about it? #WHATSTRENDING

I’ve just watched a video of a woman asking the world to accept that Paedophilia (sexual feelings directed towards children ) is a sexual preference, a thought, feeling, and not an act; and just like how we are not responsible for our feelings but rather our actions, so is it for peadophiles, and so we should treat them with the same respect as we treat other people and accept that they are people who have not chosen their sexuality; and learn to differentiate between child sexual abuse and pedophilia ...She also says we shouldn’t increase the suffering of paedophiles by excluding, blaming and mocking them as that sends them into isolation and increases the chance of sexual abuse. Does she have a point? • • I just retweeted on twitter if you want to watch it....
Vee happy birthday boo ❤️❤️ @mzveegh
It’s our duty to control the narrative...We’ve remained unbothered for far too long and allowed the rest of the world to tell our story their way.... We need to tell the African story, the right way: The African way. • • Africa is rich in minerals, rich in wealth, rich in talent....... It is the most valuable region in the world in terms of under and aboveground resources. It has 8% of world’s natural gas reserves: 45 countries on the continent have oil reserves. It has 57% of the world’s cobalt, 47% of its diamonds, 49% of its manganese, 31% of its phosphate and 21% of its gold. Moreover, the continent has a tremendous potential for hydroelectric power, solar energy and geothermal energy. Africa has abundant arable lands and many countries in the world lease lands in this continent for agricultural purposes. In addition to all of this, Africa is the second largest continent in the world. By this reckoning, the African continent should be the realm of the richest countries and people. (by Harun Yahya ) • • Wake up and do something with your life, wake up and save your generation by working on your dream....It begins with you. • • My speech at the Columbia University AFRICA Economic Forum #byoubyberlamundi #columbiaaef
